Director of US Healthcare Marketing
JOB SUMMARY
As Director of US Healthcare Marketing, you will focus on shaping Custom Health service(s) perception in this market and enabling sales channels for payor verticals with a primary focus on health plans. You will leverage marketing best practices to ensure our clients and prospects know our service(s) and help develop compelling positioning that makes them care. You will coach and mentor colleagues, partners, and others to help drive Custom Health’s business goals and mission. You are well versed in marketing services and solutions to enterprise customers and have experience with modern software and/or syndicated content products in the healthcare space.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the US market and partner channel strategy for Custom Health payor markets, including solution marketing plans, pricing strategy, packaging, targeting, positioning, messaging, and all aspects of the multichannel marketing mix.
- Led cross-portfolio go-to-market initiatives, competitive analysis, win/loss interviews, and other activities.
- Develops and serves as an internal subject matter expert on market segments, buyer and user personas, and buyer journeys.
- Takes the lead in developing and implementing the US demand generation plan. works with Communications leaders to establish priorities and strategies and oversee the development of demos, sales enablement tools, and collateral.
- Incorporates “voice of the customer” by initiating market research projects, including evaluating new markets and staying abreast of relevant industries and technologies
- Develops and conducts training for internal and external audiences, including the sales team.
- Establishes close partnership with Product Management to prioritize roadmap and release items. Provides market insights, feedback, requirements, and recommendations around the product and partner integration strategy.
- Set marketing goals, measure program success, and manage the budget.
- Creates sustainable processes that scale the impact of payor marketing efforts across the organization in the US.
- Serves as marketing liaison with cross-functional leadership.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 20-25% of the time.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in marketing, business, health, or related field or bachelor’s with related work experience.
- 7-10 years experience in US healthcare marketing, or equivalent, demonstrating previous experience designing and launching products and services.
- Proficient in Data manipulation and data sources. Able to demonstrate an ability to find and leverage data to show progress, tell a compelling story, and drive decisions.
- Ability to work effectively with seasoned managers.
- Excellent interpersonal and relational skills.
- Excellent skills in managing relationships and deliverables to outcomes.
