Custom Health is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in our Nashville Pharmacy Hub. The Pharmacy Technician will perform functions related to the pharmacy. This role requires professional judgment and continued training in healthcare. The ideal candidate should have adequate pharmaceutical knowledge and display exceptional customer service skills. They must display compassion and understanding, attention to detail, and excellent administrative skills.

This position offers the following:

  • Full-time benefits
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm 
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)/Holiday Pay

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications in accordance with established pharmacy laws, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Prepare and package medications, ensuring proper labeling, dosage instructions, and auxiliary labels as necessary.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and conduct regular stock checks to ensure availability. 
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, restocking, and organizing medications and supplies.
  • Process prescription orders, including data entry, insurance claims processing, and coordination with healthcare providers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions. 
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure a smooth workflow, efficient operations, and timely prescription filing. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to pharmacy standards, safety regulations, and infection control protocols. 
  • Adhere to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards, including patient privacy and confidentiality. 
  • Other duties ad assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years' experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Active/Good standing pharmacy technician license in the state of Tennessee.
  • CPhT certification is required. 
  • Valid drivers license.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
